After having tasted the fruit of success with a flagship school at Perinthalmanna, the Aura Group of Institutions and MDN Edify Education once again joined hands together to launch their second institution in Kerala at Kodungallur on the 16th of December 2012. That Sunday saw a remarkable response. The whole town seemed excited to be a part of the solemn moment.
An invocation to the Almighty opened the event. Padmashree Dr. K.S. Chitra presided over the occasion as the Guest of honour and endorsed herself as the Brand Ambassador for AEGS. Her presence added grace to the launch. With eminent professionals on Board, Mr.K.K. Ashraf the Chairman, very humbly put forth his vision and requested the audience to lend their support in bringing up an institution of international cadre. The Vice Chairman too reiterated the need for a good education in Kodungallur, which is otherwise self- sufficient. Aura Group Of Institutions in that blessed moment, announced its sponsorship of a plot of land for Anganbadi in Govt. Nursery School. Every dignitary shared the urgency to have a good educational centre in the small town of Kodungallur which would groom students to meet the challenges of today's world. Mr. Joseph David, the Principal of AEGS, Perinthalmanna took pride in announcing the laurels that his students and facilitators had won in Essay writing, Short Story Writing, Poetry Writing, and above all, TRICKS 2012 Robotic Competition. That achievement was further complemented by Ms. Kavitha Jain, the Vice President, who enlightened the listeners on the unique 3C curriculum as well as Edify's association with the Aura Group of Institutions. The Principal of AEGS, Mrs. Panchali Dasgupta Sahu, threw light upon the need for an education which helps an individual to accomplish creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration. Mr. David Williams from UK, the Educational Consultant for the Aura Group in India and abroad, did express his views on education in India and his experience at Indian schools. All the dignitaries were optimistic at the launch of such a global school in the historic town of Kodungallur. It wasn't only talk that marked the event but also spectacular performances by the young talents of AEGS, Perinthalmanna. The students presented a group song and an African group dance. Such performances saw rising hopes and aspirations of the parent fraternity in Kodungallur.
