Professional collaboration brings benefits to trainees, teachers, and pupils. Our newsletters will provide you with a flavour of some of the lively teacher training taking place.

Welcome to the first issue of the Edify Kids Teacher Training Newsletter. Our aim is to share good practice across our schools. For our Schools to be hackneyed as an ‘Outstanding’ we should be recognised as working in innovative ways, contributing to teacher Continuous Professional Development, ensuring pupils make progress and the teachers learn from excellent school practices . Professional collaboration brings benefits to trainees, teachers, and pupils. The following brief articles will provide you with a flavour of some of the interactive training sessions conducted in DRSIS on 5th and 6th August 2016

This year we specially organized the training program for Early School Program exclusively for Edify Kids Hyderabad: Sharing good practice each year we invite teachers from our Pre-Schools to participate in the sessions. And all the centers joining to upgrade themselves with the practices to be done at their centers and providing a Continuous Professional Development opportunity to our Pre-school teachers.

This event offered all teachers the chance to participate in showcasing their expertise and innovative ideas. The activities were designed to help prepare them for their classroom transactions. Various sessions were set up to enlighten the teachers with our sessions as follows “3C – The Curriculum talk” that lead the way to discuss on “Planning and Pedagogy – A pathway to engaging classroom” Also we looked into the “Language Development Program in young children –Phonetics” The sessions were outlined to reflect on “Story Telling & Rhymes”. We also had an insight into the session “Nurturing your "WHY" - a pedagogical tool to learning(Inquiry-based learning - Kath Murdoch) ” this gave a clear idea of transacting our Content Books into the classroom. We had the group discussion on the challenges faced during the tutelage in the classroom. We concluded with the session “Knowledge Bank-A gamut of teacher’s educational resources & Innovative programs @Edify”
